On October 1st 2004 the Cumberland
Hotel opened once again after a £95 million refurbishment.
Formerly run by the le Meridien hotel chain, management has now
been taken over by the Thistle Chain under the new brand name
of Guoman hotels. Guoman is the new brand given to their range
of upmarket hotels.The Cumberland Hotel London is a landmark hotel
located at the end of Oxford Street on Marble Arch in the very
heart of London overlooking Hyde Park. On the edge of Mayfair,
one of London most upmarket and exclusive areas with great shopping
